An Old Man's Musings

Questions to ponder: Have you ever been sorry or had regrets? After 63 years of life, my mountain of regrets would be taller than Mount Everest if they were piled on top of each other.  I carried that load for a long time, but finally, someone (my late wife Betty) told me what to do... We will always have regrets as long as we make mistakes, and we will always make mistakes. The trick is not to carry them on your back for your entire life. Do you know how to do that?

I have regrets and guilt for my failures as a man and husband for things that I did that I should not have done, for things I did not do for, and did not say or give to my dear wife Betty during our 40 wonderful years of marriage. I have regrets and guilt for my failures as a friend and child of GOD. I know I will still fail more and make more mistakes, and have more to regret. Instead of being sorry, I must understand, learn and remember, and must forgive myself and move on, trying to do better and not slip-up from now on; trying to become a man living in the image of GOD. Being sorry is easy; understanding and learning from my failures, and then moving on and changing my actions and my life to be a better is the hard part... Just an Old Man's Musings....

SURPRISE!! This page is not copyrighted.  If you find some words or thoughts that you can use, freely use as you wish, and give credit if you want. We all know where this came from, and it is not me, but GOD, so use what you need, and then pray and thank our GOD. Do not ever thank me, as I am only a channel for our Lord. Think of me as maybe being a very small and feeble beam of light pointing the way towards the Light of Christ. God Bless You All! Last modified: June 21, 2013(AL).
