An Old Man's
Questions to ponder: Have you ever been sorry or had regrets? After 63 years of life, my mountain of regrets would be taller than Mount Everest if they were piled on top of each other. I carried that load for a long time, but finally, someone (my late wife Betty) told me what to do... We will always have regrets as long as we make mistakes, and we will always make mistakes. The trick is not to carry them on your back for your entire life. Do you know how to do that?
have regrets and guilt for my failures as a man and husband for things
that I did that I should not have done, for things I did not do for, and
did not say or give to my dear wife Betty during our 40 wonderful years
of marriage. I have regrets and guilt for my failures as a
friend and child of
know I will still fail more and make more mistakes, and have more to
of being sorry, I must
understand, learn and remember, and must forgive myself and move on,
trying to do better and not slip-up from now on; trying to become a man
living in the image of GOD.
Being sorry is easy; understanding and
learning from my failures, and then moving on and changing my actions and
my life to be a better is the hard part... Just an
